What is an output?
When people work with AI assistants, the useful result is often a research summary, a brief, a plan, or a report. In a normal chat, that result lives inside a conversation that is hard to find again.
An output is Angareion's name for that finished artifact once it has been saved. Three properties set it apart from a chat message:
- It is kept word for word. What was saved is exactly what you received. Angareion does not summarize or rewrite it.
- It has a history. A revised draft is saved as a new version, and earlier versions stay available.
- It can be found again. Saved outputs are searchable by meaning, so the person who sent you this one, or an AI assistant acting for them, can recall it months later and build on it.
The email you received carried the document in its body and also attached a copy as a file you can keep. That file is the original markdown unless the sender chose another format.
What is Angareion?
Angareion is a shared memory and knowledge layer for AI-powered work. AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and others can connect to it and use it to save what matters and recall it later, so useful context is not trapped inside one conversation or one tool.
It brings several kinds of context together:
- Memory holds lasting facts, decisions, and lessons.
- Knowledge holds documents and web pages that answers can be grounded in.
- Specialists are reusable expert personas that can draw on that context.
- Handoffs let unfinished work pass from one conversation, tool, or person to the next.
- Outputs hold the finished written results, like the one you received.
Teams decide who can see what. Memory can stay private to one person or be shared more widely. The email you received was sent by someone with access to this output in Angareion, or by an AI assistant working for them.
