Angareion for Cursor

Build on what
you already know.

Shared project memory for Cursor through MCP. Bring decisions and requirements from Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex into your Cursor workflow with Angareion.

Compatibility client · Other MCP setup

One retained knowledge layer. Each client connects with its own permissions.

The direct answer

What does Angareion add to Cursor?

Cursor can use Angareion as a compatibility client through its MCP support. Configure the remote server with a compatible HTTP and OAuth flow, or follow the local-binary guide when needed. Connected sessions can retrieve saved project context and handoffs from other authorized clients.

Understand shared AI memory

Built around your work

Less backstory.
More forward motion.

Your working brief should travel as easily as your choice of assistant. Bring the requirements, research, and project decisions into Cursor before you ask an agent to act on them.

01

Bring the product brief into the editor

Develop requirements in Claude or ChatGPT, save them to Angareion, and ask the Cursor agent to retrieve them. Keep the audience and success criteria in view alongside the files.

02

Keep context while changing models

Retrieve the same permitted project memory when using another tool-capable model in Cursor. Angareion retains the knowledge independently of the editor’s model selection.

03

Take the outcome back to a conversation

Save what changed, why it changed, and what remains unresolved. Prepare a handoff for ChatGPT or Claude to review the result and plan the next step.

Inside Angareion

Your connection.
A clear place to start.

The Connect guide walks you through your client’s setup. Choose the appropriate connection, approve access, and verify the tools before asking for your context.

Your work can travel

Start in Cursor.
Continue in ChatGPT.

Save what matters, then ask another connected assistant to pick it up. The same agent or an authorized shared scope keeps the context available.

How an AI handoff works

Make the connection

How to connect Cursor
to Angareion.

  1. 01

    Request Angareion access

Once your beta account is available, open Connect and choose Other. Cursor uses the compatibility-client guide rather than a dedicated host card.

  2. 02

    Configure Cursor’s MCP connection

Use Cursor’s MCP settings to add the Angareion remote URL and complete OAuth when supported. Follow Advanced: Local Binary if your configuration needs a local stdio connection.

  3. 03

    Verify tools before starting

Confirm that the Cursor agent can call Angareion. Optional Cursor-targeted skills supply reusable workflows separately from connection configuration.

Explore the knowledge library

Does Angareion support Cursor?

Cursor is covered as a compatibility client. Use Angareion’s Other MCP client guide and verify the connection in Cursor. It does not have a dedicated Angareion Connect card, and client versions or workspace policies may affect the setup.

Can Claude and GPT models in Cursor retrieve the same memory?

A model that can call the connected Angareion tools can retrieve the same permitted agent context. Angareion does not tie a saved memory to Claude or GPT. Cursor controls which models and tools are available in a particular agent session.

Does Cursor’s model choice change how shared memory works?

The retained knowledge stays in Angareion. Changing the model can change the reasoning or response, but access still depends on the configured MCP connection, tool support, and authorized agent scope.

Can I resume a Claude Code or Codex handoff in Cursor?

Yes, if Cursor’s Angareion connection is working and authorized to read the saved handoff. Retrieve the task state and next steps explicitly. A handoff transfers retained context; repository files and local changes must be available separately.

What can I keep in Angareion for Cursor?

Retain useful facts and decisions as memories, add reference material to knowledge sources, save complete work products as outputs, and preserve unfinished work as handoffs. These are explicit workflows: Angareion does not automatically record everything you do in every assistant.

Who can access my shared context?

Access follows your Angareion agent identity and permitted memory scopes. Reusing the same agent across clients provides continuity; team or institutional sharing requires the appropriate scope and permissions. Connecting a new client does not give it unrestricted access to every memory.

How do I get started, and do I need another AI subscription?

Request Angareion private-beta access, then follow the connection guide for your client. Angareion does not supply the AI client’s subscription or change its account requirements. Compare the current Angareion editions and check the client’s own eligibility before connecting.
